How often do you walk or run?

Hacía más de un año. También más de dos. Pero pasear por la ciudad que me vio nacer fue algo de lo que tenía ganas desde el momento en que me enteré que volvería a Córdoba este verano.

Pasear por la Judería. Atravesar el Arco del Triunfo. Llegar al río Guadalquivir y vislumbrar el Puente Romano con la Torre de la Calahorra al fondo.

Llegar hasta la Mezquita. Disfrutar de sus fachadas renovadas. Entrar en el Patio de los Naranjos. Cual guiri en tierra conocida.

More than a year ago. Also, more than two. But walking around the city where I was born was something I had been looking forward to from the moment I found out I would be returning to Córdoba this summer.

Stroll through the Jewish Quarter. Cross the Arch of Triumph. Reach the Guadalquivir River and glimpse the Roman Bridge with the Calahorra Tower at the bottom.

Reach the Mosque. Enjoy its renovated walls. Enter the Patio de los Naranjos. Like a guiri in a familiar land.
