Hace 9 años, 10 meses y algunos días. Decía adiós al «feisbuk» por segunda vez. Allá por el mes de febrero de 2014, eliminaba mi cuenta de la red social más importante por aquel entonces, para dejar paso a una nueva vida en la que mis fotos las compartiría entre familares y amigos (de verdad, cercanos), y la escritura la distribuiría a través de un blog…

Así comenzaba hace un año mi primera entrada en este blog. Con esa ilusión de un niño con un juguete nuevo, de un recién graduado con su primer trabajo, de unos padres con su primer hijo… Familia, hoy cumplimos un año desde que este pequeño y humilde proyecto naciera. Tardó varios meses en echar a andar. Pero ahora ya monta en bicicleta y sin rodines. ¡¡¡Un año!!! Y estamos con la ilusión del primer día. ¡O incluso más aún!

Vosotr@s, lector@s, tenéis buena parte de culpa de ello. Sí, yo siempre quise seguir escribiendo, hasta cuando solo me leía mi madre, mi padre, mi tía, mi tío, y yo. Pero con tod@s vosotr@s, del 6 al 63 en algún que otro día, es mucho más fácil. Vuestras visitas, vuestros likes, vuestros comentarios, vuestros rebloggins, hasta alguna vez me habéis compartido en Twitter, que ahora se llama de otra forma, y por eso ya no estoy ahí… ¡pero hasta ahí he salido sin tener cuenta ya! ¡Qué Año!

Y parece que fue ayer cuando hice caso a esa notificación que pasaba de semana en semana, en el calendario del móvil: Xavi: blog en WordPress.com. Sí, Xavi Rossell, mi compañero y amigo de Underdogs (alguna vez escribiré sobre ello, hoy tocan otros menesteres 😊) a quien le pregunté dónde podría abrir un blog.

A seguir escribiendo Javi y a seguir derrochando esa alegría y actitud que nos contagia a los que te leemos. Feliz semana para ti también.

Si te satisface claro que debes seguir escribiendo. Enriqueces a los demás y viceversa. Sacas lo que tienes dentro que es mucho y muy valioso. Besos.

Pues ahora soy yo la que te da las gracias Javi, mi comentario sólo son unas palabras sinceras de lo que opino, son todas tuyas y eres «libre» de compartirlas, un alago para mí. Es muy importante tener esa actitud de positividad que tienes y de verdad que consigues contagiarla cuando escribes.

El contacto con la naturaleza especialmente con el mar reduce el estrés y nos da energía. El mar es una fuente de inspiración que oxigena la mente y nos da energía para seguir escribiendo. En lo personal, cada mañana camino en la playa, pues vivo en una ciudad puerto y antes de ir al trabajo, recibo las bondades del mar. Interesante tema. Éxitos.

Éxitos. Estos son algunos de las decenas de comentarios que he podido sacar del casi centenar de entradas que tengo publicadas en este año, especialmente en los últimos cinco meses, desde que me propuse escribir un mínimo de dos entradas semanales, allá por el mes de mayo… Seguro que cada un@ de vosotr@s podéis identificar el vuestro. No he querido poner el nombre de quien lo escribió, no importa, aunque como a alguien que sí que le pregunté, sé que no os hubiera importado.

Lo importante es el contenido. El cariño que le habéis dado a este sitio, y que gracias a ello, ha podido llegar a más de medio mundo…

Tengo la lista de los países, pero no los he contado. Hace un mes o así, superaban el medio centenar, así que ahora mismo podrá estar cerca del número de suscriptores, que al menos a fecha de la publicación de esta entrada, es de 70. La mayoría, también en estos últimos 5 meses. Y especialmente desde aquel 9 de junio, el día del boom de las más de 80 visitas. Este verano (hace apenas 3 semanas) llegamos a las 103 visualizaciones en un mismo día. Una auténtica locura.

Me resulta entrañable que la entrada que más likes tiene es la que hablo de Córdoba, de la Córdoba que me vio nacer, crecer, y que me volvió a ver pasear por sus calles dos años después de la vez anterior…

Luego le siguen otras historias imaginarias, pero que de algún modo, también son verdad, como también me decían en algún comentario 😊. Aquella de Viaje a Ulva Island Te Wharawhara, Reserva Marina o la de Mi vida de multimillonario en Grecia.

Podría estar aquí horas y horas. Y seguro que, al menos los más fieles, que cada vez sois más, las pasaríais gustosamente leyéndome. Pero esta entrada debe de parar en algún momento, y ése creo que va a ser ahora.

Seguiremos aquí y aquí tendréis todas las entradas para revisarlas tal y como os apetezca. Pero recordad una cosa: La Vida puede ser Maravillosa, así que Que nada nos pare. Eso es lo más importante. Ale, a comeros el mundo!!!

9 years, 10 months and a few days ago. I said goodbye to «feisbuk» for the second time. Back in February 2014, I deleted my account from the most important social network at that time, to make way for a new life in which my photos would be shared among family and friends (true ones, close ones), and my writing would be distributed through a blog…

This is how my first post on this blog began a year ago. With the excitement of a child with a new toy, of a recent graduate with his first job, of parents with their first child… Family, today we are celebrating one year since this small and humble project was born. It took several months to get going. But now it is already riding a bike and without rollers. One year!!! And we are with the same illusion as the first day. Or even more so!

You, my dear readers, are largely to blame for that. Yes, I always wanted to keep writing, even when I was only read by my mother, my father, my aunt, my uncle, and myself. But with all of you, from 6 to 63 on the odd day, it’s much easier. Your visits, your likes, your comments, your rebloggins, you’ve even shared me on Twitter, which is now called something else, and that’s why I’m no longer there… but I’ve even been there without having an account! What a year!

And it seems like only yesterday that I paid attention to that notification that was going by from week to week, on my mobile phone calendar: Xavi: blog on WordPress.com. Yes, Xavi Rossell, my colleague and friend from Underdogs (I’ll write about it sometime, today it’s time for other things 😊) whom I asked where I could open a blog.

Keep writing, Javi, and keep spreading that joy and attitude that is so contagious to those of us who read you. Happy week to you too.

Contact with nature, especially the sea, reduces stress and gives us energy. The sea is a source of inspiration that oxygenates the mind and gives us energy to continue writing. Personally, every morning I walk on the beach, as I live in a port city and before going to work, I receive the goodness of the sea. Interesting topic. Successes.

Successes. These are some of the dozens of comments that I have been able to extract from the almost one hundred posts that I have published this year, especially in the last five months, since I set out to write a minimum of two posts a week, back in May… I’m sure that each of you can identify yours. I didn’t want to put the name of the person who wrote it, it doesn’t matter, although as someone I did ask, I know you wouldn’t have minded.

The important thing is the content. The love that you have given to this site, and that thanks to this, it has been able to reach more than half the world…

I have the list of countries, but I haven’t counted them. A month or so ago, there were more than half a hundred, so right now it may be close to the number of subscribers, which at least at the date of publication of this entry, is 70. Most of them, within the last 5 months. And especially since June 9th, the day of the boom of more than 80 visits. This summer (just 3 weeks ago) we reached 103 views in a single day. A real madness.

I find it endearing that the entry that gets the most likes is the one that talks about Cordoba, the Cordoba that saw me born, grow up, and that saw me walk through its streets again two years after the previous time…

I could stay here for hours and hours. And I’m sure that at least the most faithful of you, and there are more and more of you every time, would gladly spend them reading me. But this entry has to stop at some point, and I think that’s going to be now.

We will continue here and you will have all the entries here to review them as you wish. But remember one thing: Life can be Wonderful, so Let nothing stop us. That’s the most important thing. Come on, let’s eat the world!!!
