Si tuvieras un millón de dólares para regalar, ¿a quién se los darías?

If you had a million dollars to give away, who would you give it to?

Fácil, reuniría a todos los gobernantes (y gente de todo tipo con poder e influencia en este mundo) y les obsequiaría con un millón de dólares a aquel o aquella que me supiera demostrar que va a usar el dinero para lograr la PAZ definitiva en este mundo.

Hoy tenemos otra curiosa e interesante pregunta que responder. Tras casi una semana de ausencia en este ámbito, enganchamos dos seguidas que me apetece responder, incluso ayer tenía un par de respuestas preparadas para la misma.

Esta noche seré breve también, como la anterior, pero daré mis argumentos.

Fácil, decía anteriormente, pero quizás no tanto, verdad? Pues bueno, si tan fácil es invadir un país, por qué no evitarlo. Un millón de dólares, razón suficiente para lograrlo.

¿Que parece poco? Bueno, en este mundo hay mucha gente con capacidad de duplicar el dinero, triplicarlo, hacerse rico con el mismo. Pues en lugar de enriquecerse un@ mism@, que lo emplee para lograr la PAZ. Que invierta en lo que tenga que invertir, y haga todo lo posible para lograrlo. Si tan poderos@ e influyente es para hacer el mal, que lo haga justo para lo contrario. ¿Imposible de lograr? Bueno, pues no hay millón. Seguro que no se quedaría conforme…

Easy, I would gather all the rulers (and people of all kinds with power and influence in this world) and I would give a million dollars to the one who can prove to me that he or she will use the money to bring about the ultimate PEACE in this world.

Today we have another curious and interesting question to answer. After almost a week of absence in this area, we have two in a row that I feel like answering, and even yesterday I had a couple of answers prepared for it.

Tonight I will be brief too, as last night, but I will make my case.

Easy, I said earlier, but perhaps not that easy, right? Well, if it’s so easy to invade a country, why not avoid it. A million dollars is reason enough to do it.

That it seems too little? Well, in this world there are many people with the capacity to double the money, to triple it, to become rich with it. Well, instead of enriching oneself, let them use it to achieve PEACE. Let him/her invest in what she/he has to invest in, and do everything possible to achieve it. If she/he is so powerful and influential to do evil, let her/him do just the opposite. Impossible to achieve? Well, there aren’t a million. I’m sure she/he wouldn’t be satisfied…
