¡¡¡Muy buenos días a tod@s!!!

Esta es una semana muy especial en lo que respecta a la gestión de la misma en mi blog, por ello, dejamos el Jueves de Música, como tal, a un lado para traeros un Jueves de Carnaval.

No solamente porque estemos llegando al término del tradicional Concurso de Carnaval en Cádiz, ciudad al suroeste de España muy cerca de donde yo nací, para l@s que me leáis de fuera de mi país de nacimiento.

Tampoco porque anoche me saliera en YouTube este vídeo de la participación de esta comparsa (modalidad de agrupación incluida en los cuatro tipos que se pueden presentar al concurso; chirigota, coro y cuarteto son las otras tres; para los que no conozcáis el evento) hace poco más de 24 horas, de temática tan relacionada con el logo de mi sitio (blog).

Y al mismo tiempo, por ambas razones y la más importante, la tercera, que es que mañana tendréis doble sesión musical, en nuestro particular (y excepcional) Viernes de Música.

Lamento no poner la letra, especialmente para l@s que no sois del sur de España y/o os cuesta entenderlo (sentíos libres de subir y bajar volumen, y repetirlo para entender el significado de la letra al completo, para mí, siendo de Córdoba, España, también me es complicado a veces pillarlo todo y en este vídeo en particular he tenido que tirar hacia atrás en hasta dos o tres ocasiones, y subir y bajar volumen dependiendo de si necesitaba entender mejor y luego estaba muy alto 😅).

También lo lamento para los que no conocéis el idioma. Algún día con más tiempo me pondré delante del TV y copiaré la letra y la traduciré para todos los públicos (que sepan castellano y/o inglés, claro 😜🫶🏼).

Good morning to you all!!!

This is a very special week as far as my blog is concerned, so we are leaving Music Thursday aside to bring you a Carnival Thursday.

Not only because we are coming to the end of the traditional Carnival Contest in Cadiz, a city in the southwest of Spain very close to where I was born, for those of you who read me from outside of my country of birth.

Nor because last night I found on YouTube this video of the participation of this comparsa (a type of group included in the four types of group that can be presented to the contest; chirigota, chorus and quartet are the other three; for those of you who don’t know the event) a little more than 24 hours ago, with a theme so closely related to the logo of my blog site.

And at the same time, for both reasons and the most important one, the third one, which is that tomorrow you will have a double musical session, in our particular (and exceptional) Music Friday.

Sorry for not writing the lyrics, especially for those of you who are not from the South of Spain and/or find it difficult to understand (feel free to turn the volume up and down, and repeat any part of it to understand the meaning of the lyrics in full, for me, being from Córdoba, Spain, it is also complicated sometimes to catch it all and in this particular video I had to pull back on two or three occasions, and turn the volume up and down depending on if I needed to understand it better and then, if it was too loud 😅).

I’m also sorry for those of you who don’t know the language. Someday with more time I’ll get in front of the TV and copy the lyrics to translate them for all audiences (who know Spanish and/or English, of course 😜🫶🏼).
