¿Cuál ha sido el mejor cumplido que te han hecho?

What was the best compliment you ever received?

He dejado el móvil de lado. He dejado las noticias para otro día. Ya no me pongo a leer todos los emails como si no hubiera un mañana. He dejado de escribir por “obligación”.

Así que eso ha repercutido en dejar este blog un poco de lado también. Pero no se me ha olvidado escribir. Ni tampoco se me ha olvidado leer en el móvil (ni leeros a todos los que me seguís 😉). Tampoco he cerrado el blog. Ni siquiera he pensado que ver vídeos en mis cortos ratos libres de esta última semana (y media) y leer por las noches sea mi nuevo pasatiempo.

Así que hoy he vuelto a pasear por el canal. He disfrutado de ese sol que sé que en España echáis tanto de menos en estas últimas semanas (sin dejar de asegurar que ya hacía falta toda esta lluvia). Y no es que hoy haya leído muchos boletines que me llegan a diario a la bandeja de entrada de mi correo electrónico. Pero sí que me apetecía volver a escribir.

Y así recordar que un día (más de uno) me dijeron que escribo bien, y que lo debo practicar más. Pues ale, aquí tiene su respuesta, Señor WordPress. Y con él, tod@s ustedes.

Espero que estéis bien y hayáis pasado un Martes Legendario. Ahora, ¡¡¡a disfrutar del miércoles y de lo que queda de semana!!!

Y como la semana pasada no hubo Jueves de Música, aquí tenéis mi elección de las dos últimas semanas que por problemas de no encontrar la letra en internet ni tener tiempo para transcribirla, no pude tampoco publicarla y regalároslas:

Así pues, con letra dentro del vídeo ya que no está transcrita, una en inglés, que una vez vi en uno de los posts de mi WP-amiga Madelaine, y otra en español, que YouTube Music eligió para mí en el popurrí de canciones varias que escuché en mi particular Viernes de Música de la semana pasada, volviendo de trabajar y, con ello, comenzando así el finde. Así que por si acaso no vuelvo a escribir en los próximos días, ¡¡¡disfrutad de estos Días de Música a lo largo de esta fantástica semana!!!

I have put my mobile phone aside. I have left the news for another day. I no longer read every email as if there were no tomorrow. I have stopped writing out of «obligation».

So that has meant that I have had to put this blog on the back burner a bit too. But I haven’t forgotten to write. Nor have I forgotten to read on my mobile (or to read all of you who follow me 😉). Nor have I closed the blog. I haven’t even thought that watching videos in my short free time along this last week (and a half) and reading in the evenings is my new hobby.

So today I went for a walk along the canal side again. I have enjoyed the sunshine that I know you in Spain have been missing so much these last few weeks (although you also assure that all this rain is long overdue). And it’s not that I’ve been reading many of the newsletters that arrive daily in my inbox today. But I did feel like writing again.

And so remember that one day (more than one) it was told to me that I write well, and that I should practise it more. So well, here is your answer, Mr WordPress. And with it, for all of you.
