¿Qué tal lleváis la Semana Santa?

Yo muy bien, la verdad, muy productivo el primer día de mis vacaciones y preparado para un nuevo y estupendo día. Por ello, como cada mañana, aunque esta vez no durante mi rutina de ejercicios matutinos, estaba escuchando el podcast de mis amigos de El Orden Mundial, que en el último episodio publicado hasta ahora en YouTube me mencionan, aprovechando un podcast sobre la geopolítica reciente del Reino Unido 🫶🏻🫶🏻 (a partir del min 40, más o menos, está mi mención, por si acaso queréis omitir el resto del podcast, aunque os lo recomiendo, aún lo siento para los que no sepáis español 🙏🏼).

Pero volviendo a lo que veníamos diciendo (¡que te vas por las ramas, Javier!), escuchaba el podcast de hoy, titulado Muere Albert Einstein – Hoy en la Historia, cuando me acordé de la pizarra de la Teoría General de la Relatividad que se encuentra en el Museo de Historia de la Ciencia de la ciudad británica de Oxford, desde el 16 de mayo de 1931, debido a las conferencias que estuvo impartiendo el famoso físico (muy conocido, pero que para mí es un auténtico desconocido, en lo que a mi relación personal con el respecta 🤓) en la Universidad de tan ilustre ciudad inglesa.

Para más inri, desconocía totalmente la verdadera historia, y es que en esta pizarra se encuentra un error técnico que el propio Albert Einstein reconoció varios años más adelante de aquellas conferencias, en más de un artículo, debido al desconocimiento de la dimensión real del universo. Desde 2013, este error fue sacado a la luz y desde entonces lo podemos disfrutar en el museo mencionado unas líneas más arriba. En el siguiente enlace incrustado podemos conocer toda la historia:

Y es así cómo un encuentro fortuito con un artículo desconocido me ha marcado positivamente para escribir esta entrada, y así tener un acontecimiento más que celebrar en este Viernes Santo. Veremos si nuestro amigo David Gómez de El Orden Mundial y Hoy en la Historia nos muestra esta otra historia de la pizarra de Einstein y su error en otro maravilloso episodio de su podcast que ya va camino del primer aniversario 🔝🎂🪇.

How is Holy Week going?

I am very well, actually, very productive on the first day of my holiday and ready for another great day. So, like every morning, although this time not during my morning exercises routine, I was listening to the podcast of my friends from El Orden Mundial, who in the latest episode published so far on YouTube, they mentioned me, on a podcast about the nowadays geopolitics in United Kingdom 🫶🏻🫶🏻 (from min 40 or so is my mention, in case you want to skip the rest of the podcast, although I recommend it, sorry for those of you who don’t understand Spanish 🙏🏼).

But back to what we’ve been saying (you’re going off the deep end, Javier!), I was listening to today’s episode Muere Albert Einstein – Hoy en la Historia, when I remembered the board of the General Theory of Relativity that has been in the Museum of the History of Science in the British city of Oxford, since 16 May 1931, due to the lectures that the famous physicist (well known, but for me a real stranger, as far as my personal relationship with him is concerned 🤓) was giving at the University of such an illustrious English city.

To make matters worse, I was totally unaware of the real story, and the fact is that this blackboard contains a technical error that Albert Einstein himself acknowledged several years after those lectures, in more than one article, due to his lack of knowledge of the real dimension of the universe. Since 2013, this error was brought to light and since then we can enjoy it in the museum previously mentioned. In the following embedded link we can learn the whole story:

And that is how a chance encounter with an unknown article has positively impacted on me to write this entry, and thus have one more event to celebrate on this Good Friday. Let’s see if our friend David Gómez from El Orden Mundial and Hoy en la Historia showed us this other story of Einstein’s blackboard and his mistake in another wonderful episode of his podcast that is already on its way to its first anniversary 🔝🎂🪇.
