¿Qué tal estáis llevando la semana? Yo, bastante liado, la verdad, pero esta está siendo un poco diferente a la pasada, primera mitad ocupada en el curro, y segunda, fuera del mismo, por un par de actividades de ocio esta tarde y mañana y tareas domésticas y ejercicio en el día de ayer. Eso me ha llevado a no poder dedicar tiempo a la escritura como me hubiera gustado pero, a diferencia de la semana pasada, sí que he logrado sacar algo antes del finde, por lo que, aunque hoy ya no sea 7 de octubre, sigo queriendo sacar esta entrada que empecé este mismo martes y que por fin he podido acabar esta mañana, para poder compartirla con tod@s vosotr@s.

Nos pregunta WordPress que quiénes son mis artistas favoritos. Ídolos. Aquellos a los que admiro y sigo. Me atrevería a puntualizar. Pues continuando con el tema que iniciamos el finde pasado con los podcasts, quería añadir un nuevo capítulo a ello, ya que ahí están mis principales artistas.

Y artistas son los que integran la redacción de El Diario, periódico online que sigo desde hace casi un lustro. Mismo tiempo que hace desde que soy socio del mismo. Desde hace un poco menos tiempo, pero que ya va camino de los cinco años también, tenemos al podcast Un Tema Al Día, cuya colaboración con Las Raras Podcast me acompañó durante la mañana del 7 de octubre, como ya tantas otras, mañanas, tardes, y a veces, incluso noches también (antes de dormir, no en su lugar, claro está 🤓).

Magnífico artículo y muy interesante propuesta de Estado único e indivisible es la que nos muestran nuestros amigos de El Orden Mundial, medio al que estoy suscrito desde hace casi un par de años ya y que, semana tras semana, me leo todos sus boletines, me escucho todos sus podcasts y algún que otro día, hasta me guardo alguna publicación de su web (me las leería todas, pero volvemos a eso de que los días solo tienen 24 horas, y aunque no nos guste, tenemos que elegir qué hacer en las mismas 😅), como la que comparto por aquí. Ojalá nuestros políticos se entendieran para crear un Estado de Paz, comenzando en este segundo aniversario de tan trágica masacre que nos está levantando a tod@s del sillón hasta en la hora de la siesta cuando solíamos quedarnos dormidos con La Vuelta en la TV.

Y no quería terminar este post sin mencionar a los que se han convertido en mi nuevo podcast favorito, que junto con los dos medios anteriores me están informando cada semana desde que empezó este nuevo curso en septiembre. Carne Cruda se ha convertido, sin ninguna duda, en uno de los medios de referencia en mi país de nacimiento, España, y desde el recién acabado mes de septiembre, puedo presumir también que al fin soy productor, como denominan ellos mismos a sus suscriptor@s y mecenas, para contribuir a que sigan haciendo programas de calidad como el que realizaron el pasado martes con motivo del segundo aniversario de la masacre en Gaza.

Top 3 que podía agrandar hasta Top 1000, pero hay que resumir, que si no esta entrada de mi blog se nos iría a las 10 horas de preparación y lectura. Aunque si leéis, escucháis y veis todo lo que os incluyo, ya tenéis para un día completo de ocio e información como el que tuve yo hace un par de jornadas 😂.

No quiero acabar, aprovechando que hoy es Jueves de Música, sin añadir una canción de Love of Lesbian que escuché por primera vez durante la Pandemia del COVID, y que con motivo de otra Pandemia, tuvimos al grupo en la redacción de El Diario hace apenas unos diez días. Quizás algún día de estos traeré su letra y traducción. Pero de momento, disfrutemos de la música de Si Salimos de Esta:

A very good morning to all of you!!!

How is your week going? Mine has been quite busy, to be honest, but this is a bit different from last one. The first half was full of work duties, and the second half was full of activities after work, with a couple of leisure activities this afternoon and tomorrow, and household chores and exercise on yesterday. This has meant that I haven’t been able to devote as much time to writing as I would have loved, but unlike last week, I have managed to get something done before the weekend, so even though today is no longer 7 October, I still want to release this post that I started on Tuesday and I finally finished this morning, so that I can share it with all of you.

WordPress asks us who our favourite artists are. Idols. Those I admire and follow. I would dare to clarify. Continuing with the topic we started last weekend with podcasts, I wanted to add a new chapter to it, as that is where my main artists are.

And artists are the ones who make up the editorial team at El Diario, an online newspaper that I have been following for almost five years. The same amount of time that I have been a member of them. For a little less time, but also approaching five years, we have the podcast Un Tema Al Día (A Topic Every Day), whose collaboration with Las Raras Podcast accompanied me on the morning of 7 October, as it has done on so many other mornings, afternoons, and sometimes even evenings (before bed, not instead of it, of course 🤓).

Our friends at El Orden Mundial have posted a magnificent article and a very interesting proposal for a single, indivisible State. I have been subscribed to this media for almost two years now, and week after week, I read all their newsletters, listen to all their podcasts, and every now and then, I even save some of their web publications (I would read them all, but we come back to the fact that days only have 24 hours, and even if we don’t like it, we have to choose what to do in them 😅), such as the one I am sharing here. I wish our politicians could come to an understanding to create a State of Peace, starting on this second anniversary of such a tragic massacre that is lifting us all out of our armchairs, even at siesta time when we used to fall asleep with La Vuelta on TV.

And I didn’t want to end this post without mentioning what has become my new favourite podcast, which, together with the two previous media outlets, has been keeping me informed every week since the new academic year began in September. Carne Cruda has undoubtedly become one of the leading media outlets in my country of birth, Spain, and since the end of September, I can also boast that I am finally a producer, as they call their subscribers and patrons, helping them to continue making quality programmes such as the one they produced on last Tuesday to mark the second anniversary of the massacre in Gaza.

Top 3 that I could expand to Top 1000, but I have to summarise, otherwise this blog post would take us 10 hours to prepare and read. Although if you read, listen to and watch everything I’ve included, you’ll have enough for a whole day of leisure and information, just like I had a couple of days ago 😂.

I don’t want to end this Music Thursday without adding a song by Love of Lesbian that I heard for the first time during the COVID Pandemic. Due to another Pandemic, we had the band in the El Diario newsroom just ten days ago. Maybe one of these days I’ll share the lyrics and translation with you.
