It was an intention we all had since long time ago. We were thinking in becoming part of an English club from four or five years passed. And finally, it became true in February 2025. And not so long ago after that date, we made History…

Good morning, everyone!!!

How have you been in these weeks since I wrote you all on last time?

I have been really well. Wishing to write sooner, but also enjoying at work, and especially out of it. Meeting friends to celebrate my birthday, meeting family to celebrate my cousin Carlos wedding (best ever!!!)…

… And living the promotion of Harborough Town to the National League for first time in its 51 years of History. Isn’t it beautiful?

Two years ago, on 12th April 2024, I was getting the keys of the flat I am living now in Stratford-upon-Avon.

A year ago, on 12th April 2025, a group of more than 100 Spaniards congregated in Market Harborough, to live the recent joint of La Media Inglesa (YouTube channel of English football in Spanish, for those who are not familiar with it yet) with the team of the small town at the South of Leicestershire.

On Saturday 11th April 2026, at around 17,00h (GMT), 200 bees fans in the field of Halesowen Town FC and lots of bees fans around the world were celebrating the promotion of Harborough Town to the National League North after winning the game for 1-3 and, as well, Stratford Town FC had beaten Spalding United (second position in the table) for exactly the same 1-3.

Nothing more beautiful than the real life 💛.

Lots of coincidences that are far more than that. God-incidences, as they have been named in this site lots of times.

But all full of emotions and happiness, not only during this last important match, but along the whole season.

A season that I started not following other team (or sport) than Harborough Town.

A season that became the most important year of this beautiful club.

Happiness.

And to celebrate it, let’s come to one song that I first listened in a town even smaller than Market Harborough, in the Heart of Yorkshire Dales National Park, and that I also enjoyed on the eve of this marvellous event at work, for the meaning of it and the relation with what was about to happen just 24 hours later… <<I’ll be the One (the Team)… You won’t forget>>

Era algo que todos llevábamos tiempo queriendo hacer. Llevábamos cuatro o cinco años pensando en formar parte de un club de inglés. Y, por fin, en febrero de 2025 se hizo realidad. Y poco después de esa fecha, hicimos historia…

¿Cómo os ha ido en estas semanas desde la última vez que os escribí?

A mí me ha ido muy bien. Quería escribir antes, pero también he estado disfrutando del trabajo y, sobre todo, de mi tiempo libre. Quedando con amigos para celebrar mi cumpleaños, reuniéndome con la familia para celebrar la boda de mi primo Carlos (¡la mejor de todas!)…

… Y viviendo el ascenso del Harborough Town a la National League por primera vez en sus 51 años de historia. ¿No es maravilloso?

Hace dos años, el 12 de abril de 2024, recogí las llaves del piso en el que vivo ahora, en Stratford-upon-Avon.

Hace un año, el 12 de abril de 2025, un grupo de más de 100 españoles se congregó en Market Harborough para vivir la reciente colaboración de La Media Inglesa (canal de YouTube de fútbol inglés en español, para quienes aún no lo conozcan) con el equipo de la pequeña localidad al sur de Leicestershire.

El sábado 11 de abril de 2026, alrededor de las 17:00 h (GMT), 200 aficionados Bees en el campo del Halesowen Town FC y muchos otros aficionados Bees de todo el mundo celebraban el ascenso del Harborough Town a la National League North tras ganar el partido por 1-3 y, además, el Stratford Town FC había vencido al Spalding United (segundo clasificado) por exactamente el mismo 1-3.

Nada más bonito que la vida real 💛.

Muchas coincidencias que son mucho más que eso. Diosualidades, como las hemos llamado en este sitio en numerosas ocasiones. Pero todas ellas llenas de emociones y felicidad, no solo durante este último partido tan importante, sino a lo largo de toda la temporada.

Una temporada que empecé sin seguir a ningún otro equipo (ni deporte) que no fuera el Harborough Town.

Una temporada que se convirtió en el año más importante de este precioso club.

Y para celebrarlo, pasemos a una canción que escuché por primera vez en un pueblo aún más pequeño que Market Harborough, en el corazón del Parque Nacional de Yorkshire Dales, y que también disfruté en la víspera de este maravilloso evento en el trabajo, por su significado y su relación con lo que estaba a punto de suceder apenas 24 horas después… <<Seré la persona (el Equipo)… que nunca olvidarás>>
